I am not asking you to give an idea you wish to use yourself but if you have an idea that seems to complicated or you don't have the time to do it or you would just like to see a program based on it, please tell me so that I could write this program and earn some money. I can't steal the idea from no one. I am asking for an idea - it is your decision whether to give it to me or not.

This has to be a first!! An experienced programmer without a game idea. You've got it all wrong, my friend. What you're meant to say, if you're going to follow in the time honoured tradition of these boards, is that you have an idea for the most awesomest game ever that is going to make heaps of money, and all you need is a programmer to write it for you! I'd suggest checking out the team requests forum - there are loads of people there with ideas and no programming skills who would love to hear from you!

Ooooh an MMORPG or MRPG. That should keep you occupied for a while...

Personally I think retro games are good fun, make a good collection of retro style games with good graphics and particle effects and all that in depth stuff.

If you were looking for one BIG project then seeing as you are an experienced coder then you could try your luck at an RPG. A good one I think would be one with it set in the future as opposed to a medieval theme. You could have plasma grenades, ray guns (like the ones the military are developing that paralyse you temporarily), mind control devices etc etc.
