Hi,
I am making a game called WaterBombs. It is about a plasma pistol trying to defend the abandon palace that is now filled with odd things.
Screenies:

If you have any ideas, mail me.

Looks very nice from the first screenshot, but God help 56 k'ers. I'm on 512k and I could only be arsed to wait for the first picture to load (1.4 mb!!!). Please please please upload those pics as jpegs. Cheers.

Isn't it? Wasn't it? Marvellous!

Ummm, not to try and point out the obvious, but you have to actually re-save the files as .jpg, just changing the file extension does jack squat. Jpgs are a different file format from bmps completely, the file extension is just so that programs can filter out specific file types within a directory.

@megaton

So, where exactly does Squids Revenge say his game is made in DB? He made a game didn't he? This website is called thegamecreators isn't it?

@Squids Revenge
This is looking good, congrats.

This is getting immature now but seeing as you can't be bothered to read what you post I'll explain it. Squids Revenge posted this in Work in Progress. Nowhere in the board description does it say it has to be made in DB. If this was posted in Program Announcements then you'd have got your little victory, but it wasn't so you don't.

BTW, this isn't fair on Squids Revenge so this will be my last post on the subject.

I'm pretty sure the Program Announcements guidelines apply to Work In Progress seeing as it's in the same catagory and pretty much is the same thing.

Really I don't give a rats arse what it was made in. I had my IDE in Program Announcements and it was made with something nothing near DB, VB. Did anyone say anything... No! I see all kinds of stuff made with all kind of tools in these two boards, and nothing is ever said to them. So what the problem with this one?

@Squids Revenge - Looking nice

Soon to come... Dark IDE, New IDE for DarkBASIC Pro!

Much better than the 3d game maker.

Yep, I'm going to get V. 1 because EA doesn't work on my computer but support says V. 1 will.

I don't have a problem leaving this game in the WIP section because it is, after all, a game made with a TGC product. FPSC games would be moved to their own WIP forum, however, but since there is no T3DGM WIP forum, this will do.

Looks neat by the way.

Anyone complain about Newton, Blue IDE, Blue GUI, NGC and various others? No? OK.

Nice Work, my seafaring creature.
