Hi,guy's
i need your help
My teacher gave me an quiz.It is a math quizz but i cant solve it.So if there is someone who can explain it to me?please i need your help.
ok it goes like this:

There is a car.It can store 100 liter of fuel.It rides 1/10.So with the 100 liter it can drive 1000 km.
Now it can also create checkpoint where it can store some fuel. The fuel wich it drops off at the checkpoint must be from the 100 liters.
So how many liter would you use if you need to drive 1600 km's?How many checkpoints?
And how about 3000 km?
I hope someone can help me out.
Thnx

If it's only dropping off fuel and not taking any on, then it'll always be limited to 1000km?

Facts are meaningless.
You could use facts to prove anything that's even remotely true.

it also can take on.
Image you've created a checkpoint at 250 km so youve used 25 liters, you drop off 50 liters there...go back...then you are at the start point.and have 0 liters..you then can take 100 liters from the startpoint.

1600km would probably be like:

1st run:
- grab 100 liters and go to checkpoint 1 (250km)
- drop 50 liters
- go back and grab 100 liters
- repeat this 10 times to store 210L at checkpoint 1

2nd run:
- go to checkpoint 1 (lost 25L) and grab 25L
- go to checkpoint 2 (500km, lost 25L) and drop 50L
- go to checkpoint 1 (lost 25L) and grab 100L

3rd run:
- go to checkpoint 2 (lost 25L) and grab 25L
- go to checkpoint 3 (750km, lost25L) and drop 50L
- go to checkpoint 2 (lost 25L) and grab 25L
- go to checkpoint 1 and grab 85L

4th run:
- go to checkpoint 3 (lost 50L) and grab 50L
- go to final (1600km) because you've got 85L = 850km again
