but game models have to be more detailed, i'm a modler, i make small idiotic fims that last 2 minutes but you never have to get really close with the camera to the object. In games you go where you want mostly, accept if there's a wall ibn the way

Actually, movie models have to be far, far more detailed. For games everything has to be rendered in real-time, so they have to be low poly, but for movies everything has to look as realistic as possible.

Take something like Gollum from LOTR for example, if you tried to put that in a game, the computer would laugh at you.

Desktop: AMD Athlon XP2800+,Radeon 9800 128MB, 1GB DDR RAM
Laptop: AMD Athlon 64M 3000+,Mobility Radeon 9700 128MB, 512MB DDR RAM
