What is the difference between .x and bsp?

.x is for direct x models and can load any object with directx. and bsp i think is spacificly for worlds/levels!

The .X is DirectX's native format for 3D objects. It is the second fastest loading format in DB/Pro next to Dark Basic object files.
The BSP is Half-Life's map format, I think I'm not 100% sure about this. I'm really not the best on 3d formats and such. Hope that helps, if it doesn't. I'll look it all up and see what I can find for you.

Also, a BSP world is the center of the game universe, and I'm 75% sure it isn't affected by external lights. I would personally suggest .x as you can do much more advanced collision checking and have better performance by hiding unused part of your world. A BSP world cannot be hidden and only 1 can be loaded at a time.
