Hi i'm making a plataform game and i have a problem with detecting scenario.For exemple how do i program may player to know when i jump to stay up in a plataform?When i press the jump key i move the graphic up and then down but my problem is to detect the plataforms,i hope you understand me.

Still have a lot to learn

if i understand you correctly you are having problems with collision...you could look into the "Fizz" 2D physics...

Or try using byond, its free and is perfect for 2D games, it comes with online mul;tiplayer suport, free hosting for the game, an icon creator, excellent tutorials, and collision is as simple as:
density=1
The only problem with BYOND is that you need byond to run the games, it isn't a .exe, its a .dmi.
