I saw this a couple of years ago...and it's just as funny today as it was then.

Here's one line from a letter from a colleague of mine. The car park ticket machine at an airport broke, and it cost hime a fortune to get out...

Yeah, bit of an oldie but goodie that one. Although I was always under the opinion that he was phrasing things in a kinda "points of view" type of english. ie. not many people really talk like that, and I think he was trying to sound that way.
