I just saw this on Nova a few minutes ago and thought it was just cool. These tiny frogs freeze solid if they touch ice. Organs shut down and the heart stops completely. And then, weeks later, it thaws it and comes back to life. I've heard of hibernation, but never anything like this. Didn't think it was possible. It's like suspended animation I guess you could say. Perhaps one day Fry will finally meet Bender?

They covered this on a wildlife radio spot in NH. Interesting stuff.
