Does anyone own an Advent T9202? and has tried to install Linux on it? For some reason Linux can't find any of the hardrives on my pc. My Hard drives are connected through the motherboard. And apparantly don't need any drivers. Can anyone help??

Are you sure it isn't Mounting them rather than not being able to find them?

Another question is, what version of Linux are you using?
SuSE, Red Hat (Fedora) and Mandrake detect pretty much everything.. Gentoo, DSL, etc.. tend to only detect or rather be able to use bog-standard technology.

Laptop manufacturers often create incompatible hardware... for some totally baffleing reason that I'm sure is clear to them.
