Basically, i want a cube to be placed on the camera so it can detect collision between an enemy and the camera.

But ive tried this:

BUT it just places the cube at the side of the matrix not under the camera...anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

Dark Flame,

I will need to see your full code to be able to help you, because the code above by itself works just fine. There must be another command in your code somewhere that is placed after this position object command, which is overriding and placing the cube back at the side of the matrix. Check throughout your code densly, and see if this may be the problem.

Dark Flame,

I am having some trouble with my MSN account for now. So, please email the code to me instead. Thank you.

I bet that you misplaced a number in a position object command. But also, I think there is now auto camera collision in U5.8, so I'd use that instead. And what is this for, an FPS?

RiiDii,

Autocam shouldn't matter, seeing that the object is being placed where the camera is.

You have to move the object inside your main loop. ie run line 2 of your code EVERY frame. You can't just move it to cameras start position and hope it will move around with you.

Isn't there a command to set camera collision on?

Check the U58 documentation for fixed commands. They've fixed the auto camera collision:

automatic camera collision .....
