Hi....
i made a character in 3d studio max 7.0 then animated using
the biped plug in
and i exported it using the microsoft plugin that came
with the directx sdk

when i load it every thing seemed to be fine but
when i tried to play it (animation) ......

in dbc:
the limbs gather in one place (0,0,0 position) of the object
and it dont move at all

in dbpro:
the character moves as slow as hell even if i set it to the
max speed

and when i open the file using the mesh viewer (comes with directx sdk)
it works fine and even in my visual basic (linked with dx) applications

and when i load other x files(downloaded from the internet)
they work fine in db

so whats the problem????
is it the plugin???
is there another way to export????

please help!
dre

Maybe you have too many animation frames?

AMD Athlon 64 fx-53, 1 gig PC3200 Dual Channel Performance DDR, ATI Radeon X800 XL PCI-E, 74 gig 10000rpm HD, Abit AX8 Motherboard

that sounds about right.

if you have too many frames it will go too slow. it's kind of hard to explain.
