Okay...

1 = I don't have access to pixel shaders, as I've done the example, so what do I need for pixel shader support? plus what does it do?

2 = Are there any volumetric commands yet? Like for a nice fog effect that stays on the floor or like a fire that "wraps" round a room? If not, does anyone know if the're coming in a patch?

Okay, that's it for now, post soon.

1 - Buy a card that has pixel shader support.
2 - Not yet (if at all)

Good news everyone! I really am THAT good...

What card would have pixel shader support?
Also, I like to have the best of everything if it improves the quality of my work, so keep that in mind. DirectX 9? Why doesn't it work with DarkBASIC Pro, and some games? I'm not D/Ling it yet until it's sorted.

Oh, and some of the examples that come with DBP don't work, e.g. FaceDemo, I EXE it, the black screen comes up with the funny little frog cursor, then I get a stupid message sayin DarkBASIC Professional has encountered a problem...bla bla...please send an error report which I never do, this happens with others aswell, so if anyone could tell me what's wrong it would be much appreciated.

Basically you'd need a Radeon 9000 or higher,
or a GeForce 4
or you could wait for the new GeforceFX
