I thought bacause i've never created a text RPG when i first started using db..i'd create one now. But when i run what i have right now i get a black screen anyone know why?

I think you must Rem Draw Sprites first line.

Well it works with sync off. This also worked for me:


AMD Athlon 64 fx-53, 1 gig PC3200 Dual Channel Performance DDR, ATI Radeon X800 XL PCI-E, 74 gig 10000rpm HD, Abit AX8 Motherboard

could try pasting the image instead of using a sprite, other wise you could use the old print command.

It works fine when i "Print" text...but when i "input" then it dont load??

try it like this, other wise you will have to make your own key input checker and display its as a sprite.

I'll Try Input Tomorrow. Color Text Drill Look Something Like This. J.G. PS I found what I Need on page 20 of 22 Dev Tut. I'll watch for your end product. Your Input didn't work for me either-looked OK

I would Try leaving Sync off. If it's text based you probably won't have to worry about your screen fps(), and that sync could be why you can't see any thing.

Something to try anyway.
