Newcomers DBPro Corner / Sprite does not exist error - though clearly defined

Hey, I'm having a little problem in this 2D tank game I'm writing. I can clearly see the declaration of the sprite and its position; However, it says that in the first line of the movement function, the sprite is NOT declared. Is this a bug, or am I doing something incorrectly?
