I'm looking forward to Nintendo's new wacky console debut. Wonder what revolutionary idea they may come up with this time? I have my money on a pyramid-shaped console that allows you to interact with game characters & environments by kicking it.

One game thats going to be there is called Metronome. It looks like a very interesting game and a brand new game concept too, as far as I know. I dont know it could be crap, but looks interesting. Check it out: http://www.tarsier.se/metronome/

And if any of you are curious, they are using the Reality Engine to make that which is using the latest DX (now called XMA) and the Novodex Physics SDK (makers of PPU). Its more powerful than Doom 3 and Half Life 2. http://www.artificialstudios.com/index.php

Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing Gothic 3 (never played the first 2, but I saw a Gothic 3 video last night that just blew my mind... I must search out the other 2 games and play them).

I am also looking foward to seeing what they show off with ES4: Oblivion, and Grandia 3. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Should also show off something nice, I hope.

Not much else that I can think of really, other then the NextGen consoles of course. I'm hoping they show off the PS3 based more specwise and not designwise. Maybe a little bit of the Revolution's specs (and "innovations" as nintendo likes to call them, though I call them "pains in the nuts" ).

Yeah, but gameplay is all i care about anymore. Besides, mouse has been bitching at me to play them for almost a year now, i just never put any effort into finding them

Killer 7, almost forgot about it. This has to be the coolest looking (graphical) game i've seen in a long time. I just love it when cel-shading is done right.

And maybe we'll here something about XIII-2, considering those bastards did say "to be continued"... Just as I was enjoying the game too

Empty & Mouse - Been playing gothic on and off tonight, must say, the game plays how I imagined Zelda: OOT would play (not talking storywise here) on the PC. I am falling in love with this game quickly, and I fear it could turn into another addiction (Like the one I had with KOTOR, then KOTOR2 ). The world is well made for its time...

I can't belive I missed out on this game for so long.

Edit - BTW, i'm working on joining the sleeper camp, but I get the feeling this is going to be a big mistake in the near future. Just one of those feelings this is less of a following and more of a "Sleeper Cult"... waiting to perform sacrificial rituals on me and a few scavengers

Its free, for halflife 2 owners, but it features HDR (High Definition Range lighting), on a deleted Halflife 2 level 'The Lost Cost', apparently it requires halflife 2 running on full out everything with no problem, and since mine does, I guess im fine .

Then show me the page on GameSpot? So you're saying they're releasing two expansions?

EDIT:

I just found that they already released the Lost Coast for free, so I don't think it will make an E3 appearance. It's little more than an add-on to push your hardware.

Perfect Dark Zero, that is the only and only things I am looking forward to seeing.

Can't really think of anything else that has my interest.
The new consoles will be a big issue I think, but other than seeing what they look like, again not really fussed.

Is my opinion really wrong?

Is there a need for new consoles?

Are the XBox, PS2 and GameCube completely obsolete?

Are these new consoles light years ahead of the XBox, PS2 and GameCube?

If I am wrong, then prove me wrong. If there is a need for these newer faster game consoles, then please show me where the need is.
