Here is one of those Microsoft Excel quizes, see how many retro game box artworks you can recognise. They're not all "retro" really, lots of SNES and Megadrive stuff and even some PSX.

http://www.consolepassion.co.uk/junk/retro_games_box_quiz.xls

(you'll need Excel to play it - type in the title to get the score)

Am stuck on a few, but have most of them now.

Cheers,

Rich

I got the first row all correct, then gave up after looking at a few others.

I suck at retro but not too bad. Running on pure memory alone and no searching i got 26% with 7 close.

[Edit]

Make that 30% with 8 close, can't believe i didn't recognise "Dune".

Wow - this was the first time I have ever seen something "fun" in Excel!

Nicely done.

Best place is Quizardry. I have 2 of my own there for ZX Spectrum games Do my download stats a favour and download them please . Oh, and the cassette inlays one should be fine for anyone who had a C64 or an Amstrad. Ah, those were the days...

Spectrum cassette inlays:-

Spectrum loading screens:-

Should be getting spectrum loading screens 2 & 3 on there soon, plus a Silhouette movie quiz (name the film and actor from a picture where the actor is blacked out).

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

I'm probably doing something wrong as everything is locked.

You have to click on the field above "Wrong" and then type in your guess. It's programmed so that if you're correct, it changes "wrong" to correct, if you typed in a wrong guess, it says "wrong (search)" and if you have some of the words right it says "close (search)"

Isn't that bejeweled on there? Or is it some completely different game?
