i'm trying to make a "drumming" game. when you move the down key the stick goes down and so on. so far i only got the stick to move down, i want to position the stick at an angle, then make the stick return to its original position once the movement has ended. i can't figure out to do that! can someone help me please!

thanks

Hmm very interesting, if you like i had some code for moving a sword with the mouse...it could be changed to a drum stick pretty easily.... Im really liking this concept. I can fidn the code if you like...its in the game theory board somewhere.

I've altered the gameplay somewhat to make it simpler. Now, i'm using spheres instead of the drumstick idea. the whole concept of the game is to play along to the music using the F-G-H keys as the keys are displayed on the screen.
I need to add a scoring system and display the corresponding keys on the screen.
but i have no idea how to do that......
any help will be greatly appreciated! once it's finished i'll add you to the credits!!
the download includes the source code and media.
