Happy VE Day! I hope you all remembered. 3.30 yesterday 60 years ago Hitler comitted suicide, Surrendering, but it was only aired on the radio the next day, to-day 60 years ago.

E=MC²: Energy= Mass x The speed of light squared. That means that a glass of water can power a whole city...Problem being getting it out.

VE day was the day after because the Germans didn't surrender until then. Hitler refused to surrender, despite being told that his expected 100,000 troops would never reach Berlin. Once he and Himmler had killed themselves, it allowed Germany to surrender he day after.

The end of the greatest struggle, and the greatest force of evil, in the history of the world. Good day

It marked the end of 1,000 years of The Reich. Hitler set out to "cleanse" the world, and ended up destroying the 1,000 year old "Holy Empire" that he represented.

Except for Stalin, who killed anything upto 30 million ppl. The Chinese in the cultural revolution - anything upto 50 million ppl. Holocaust - 6 million jews, 5 million civvies, 1 million children. The Huttoo's of central Africa - 0.5 million. Bosnia/Serbia - 20,000 ppl dead? Iraq - supposedly 300,000 ppl dead (under saddams leadership). How many ppl have died in Africa over the past century?

It would appear that the greatest force of evil is the human being. All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. Doing nothing is what humans are good at it would seem...
