Is there a way to find out if there is an object at a certain position in space and if so what the object number is? I want to pass coordinates to a function and if there is an object at this position I want to show it, but I can't seem to find a function that will do this.

Many thanks

You could use intersect object. This projects a line into space, and tells you if it hits an object, and if so, where.

Use sparingly, it's not very efficient.

Thanks Batvink - I'll have a look at that
