Yea, this will be my first TGC competition I am entering. I wanted to go for something original so instead of browsing the internet for ideas...i unplugged my internet cable and just though. Thought, Thought, and Thought some more. Finally I came up with PuzzleMap3D! There may have been a game like this before but I have never seen it, so this is NOT a remake game.

Ok onto the screeny's:

I am going to develop this project continuously upgrading it until the last day for submissions, and hopefully I can make great things happen.

Oh yea, the object of the game is to navigate through the levels and make each platform box disappear, a platform box disappears after you roll over it....so there is also no backtracing. If you fall off the cubes, you lose a life and each platform you hit givs you 10pts. Im still planning on adding obstacles, timers, special objects, possibly split screen, password-protected level selection, and a few other things.

this is a classic game-concept. Either your genius, lying, or remembered it on some unconcious level. I'm a positive guy, so I'll say you're a genius Good luck..

"i tried"

how dare you say that! this is an original concept, i've never seen a game that was more original. the only game that came close was a game where you hop around and you have to find keys to complete the level.

GREAT JOB!

I've seen games similar to this (usually as a sub-game within another), but they had the blocks appearing and disappearing in a set pattern, made it a little more challenging in my opinion since you had little time to think, you had to move off your current block before it disappeared made you fall.

This however is much more like a puzzle game, since you've got to figure out where to go, rather then rely on luck, so nice idea, Leys!

I don't suffer from insanity - I enjoy every minute of it!

Well I have seen this type of game before, although it involved painting bricks without steping on them again... and I saw a very vauge reletive of the idea in a pokemon game once...

But I have no idea where 'classic game-concept' came from. I'd say this is more original than almost all of the entries seen so far, if not all.

To be honest, the other game I saw similar to this didn't look nearly as good.

oh, ya, now i remember "swashbuckler", you're a pirate and you have to wash the deck, and you can't go over what you've washed, and there are obstacles. But Just so u know, THAT GAME SUCKED!!! I've been waiting for a better version of that game, and here this is, what luck! but you shouldn't make obstacles, maybe places you can jump (or if you're going fast enough, speed over) Can't wait for a demo!
