Is there a tutorial to do large outdoor landscapes such as everquest or ascherons call?

Or is it possible?

Can you have several BSP's for buildings in a large area matrix landscape?

Thanks for your responses.

I just found the manual online and it says:

Is there a way to get more than 60,000 planes?

Or maybe a way to store and load them quickly in LOD applications?

You can use scroll matrix tiles or some command like that to scroll the matrix around, and change the edge values to correspond with your terrain height values held in an array. It is so quick to alter matrices that having more than one isn't really needed, unless you are using multilevelled terrain. Also, it only needs to be as big as the distance you can see. All the rest you can load when you need.
