As far as I know .3DS files do not support Boned animation. As for animation programs PLEASE go to the 3D Chat Board and look at the stickys at the top. Anyway I reccomend Milkshaped 3D. Its not free but it doesnt cost much!

Thanks to Animeblood for the Logo!

its illegal in my country but get a bucket of soapy water and a squeegie and wash car windows at a stoplight and you will earn $20 us for milkshape

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself

Hi Cretinous why not D/L a copy of gameSpace light it should do what
you want as long as you dont make models with more than 650 polygons.

Or you could ask this guy if he could let you D/L Pacemaker 1.0

Ooh! GMAX!

Get Gmax (google for it), it's basically a cut-down version of 3DS Max. You can find plenty of .gmax -> .3ds or .x converters on the internet, and it's legal to use for games as long as you don't sell your games. (i.e., you must give them out FOR FREE.)
