Just started 3D objects. Is there away to program the lenght of a cone or cylinder. I am attaching a code snippet of a rocket. I would prefer to use only one cylinder for the lenght in place of the 4 or so I used.
I am also afraid that programing "good" shapes,objects will require the use of a Sprite-no problem- with something like VB or C++. I have looked at the "Sphere Mapping" program and am thinking of scout2 text and scoutmap jpg object. The scout text looks like it will be hell on earth for me to break down and learn. Can any anyone help? Thanks

radius = 20
height = 50
height2 = 200

make object cone 1, 100
scale object 1, radius, height, radius
make object cylinder 2, 100
scale object 2, radius, height2, radius

Thanks, So Much. I will apply your snippet soon. I see I may need to rephraise my second question. I wrote the question and it's not real clear to me, Thanks. JG
