Newcomers DBPro Corner / how do i save and load a game?

for my game it is VERY important for the user to be able to save a game. but ive heard that you need DLL for this. is this true? if not please can someone tell me how to svae and load a game without dll? thanks in advance. by the way im using DBPro

No it is not true. I make save games for my games it is quite simple. Use the "read file" and "write file" commands and save strings that are for scores, your name, what ever you want. Then when the player reloads his save game, whalla , there it is. You are definately correct. Save games make the game, and if you don't have save games, some players may become frustrated if their computer freezes and they have to restart.
