Just watched the first few hours of this live webcast from Google HQ - fascinating stuff.
They've gone to lunch now but are back in an hour with some more tech stuff.

Some guy asked how many servers they had
They wouldn't say, but they have 4 CPU servers (with LARGE amounts of ram), 20 servers per rack, and the last released figure (a few years old) was that they had over 10,000 racks - the most interesting part they announced in the webcast was that they self-build every single one!
Anyway am going back on in an hour to see the rest of the talk, it's way cool - if you try it pick the low-res version regardless what connection you have, there are so many people viewing it the high res one breaks out loads.
