I still proudly use Netscape 7.2 because I actually LIKE integration (I hit Ctrl-6 to get IRC, Ctrl-3 for AIM, Ctrl-2 for my mail, etc.) However, if I were to switch browsers it would be to Netscape 8 since it's Firefox but even more secure.

I've gone back to Mozilla - Netscape 8 has been a bit too unreliable to be able to use, unfortunately - a common problem a lot of people seem to have found.

How does that work? Netscape pretty much IS Netscape!

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself

I was using FireFox most of last night, now I was under the impression it had a good popup blocker.

Surfed Newgrounds with Explorer, didn't even realise it was like an advert pop-up heaven. Never recieved a single pop-up. FireFox claimed it'd blocked them but I kepts getting atleast 1 each time I moved pages.

Was only using it cause I couldn't be arsed to boot Visual C# back up.

Web programmers have known for ages how to avoid Firefox's AND IE's popup blockers. It's more or less a game of the browser patching and the coders outsmarting. I am convinced they'll never be able to completely block them all unless they can JavaScript altogether.

From your comments about Macintosh software, I'd bet you've never even touched a Mac; let alone a MacOSX with iBrowse(Safari)

this would happen to be one such comment.

OK....

Also, just so you know I'm my dept.'s head Mac guy at my job.

EDIT:
...and since that comment seems to be saying that you doubt the claim that Safari is the most standard webbrowser (because as a Mac owner I obviously haven't used Safari) here's a link that says the same thing. Safari is the only browser to pass the ACID2 test. http://www.webstandards.org/buzz/archive/2005_04.html#a000519

EDIT 2:
...and here's a comparison of the other browsers. As you can see the unpatched Safari is still the closest (although people could argue for Firefox).http://www.sitepoint.com/blog-post-view.php?id=258586
