I just bought DarkBASIC and I dont know how to use it. The manual isnt helpful and neither are the online tutorials. What is the best way to learn DarkBASIC and how to make games with it? maybe some really good tutorial or something.

first, go through the fast-track andother path of learning. They're a great help. Next, go to the list of commands. Start small, like look under basic 2d and look at the command circle. You simply give it the screen coordinates of the center and a radius and voila! Now, add some other commands and you can make the circle move, disappear, etc. The most important thing is the two tutorials, fast and regular. go throught hem both and understand everything. I hope I helped.

Well... I'm a fast learner so I don't know if this'll work with you, but this is how I learned DB

As Guitarman said, try with the examples and follow the tutorials that DB has inside, then, if you still don't get much of the functions and stuff, try the tutorials here:

http://darkbasic.thegamecreators.com/?f=tutorials

I learned better with the Binary Moon tutorial, but it's up toyou with what one to start, both are good and an awesome guide to know how to start programming in DarkBASIC .

Welcome to the DB world!
