Hi I'm a total noob to db - and enjoy the tutorials a lot.
But, I ran into a problem with Tutorial 8 and 9 from the DB Site
( http://developer.thegamecreators.com/?f=t01/3d_tutorial_8 and http://developer.thegamecreators.com/?f=t01/3d_tutorial_9

The
if somekey()=1
and then som code

command doesn't seem to work.

I'm using DBPro 1.058
Any help would be great, so I can keep on learning.

Cheers

What do you mean by somekey()? the only keys that you can use like this are:

-upkey()
-downkey()
-leftkey()
-rightkey()
-controlkey()
-shiftkey()
-escapekey()
-returnkey()

for all other keys you have to use either scancode(), inkey$() or keystate(). You can search the forum or help files for how to use these.

Part of solving the problem is actually noticing that the problem is there in the first place
