ok, this has nothing to do with programming, but maybe you've encountered this before. when i try to start up dark basic, all that shows is a black screen with the D E hourglass as my cursor. no matter how long i wait it just stays like that. i press ctrl + alt + delete and it says it's not responding. I have had no problems with dark basic before. If any of you have encountered this problem before, please help me!

I just encountered that click ctrl + alt + delete close the program then close other things because to many things running (maybe) then open DB. Hope this helps

it was the only thing running at the time. i also tried uninstalling and reinstalling but alas it was to no avail.

wait, you just encountered it too?? is anyone else having problems with this as well?? cuz if so maybe db blows up at a certain date cuz of sum error or something. but maybe not, maybe it's just me.

Do you have the latest version of Direct X installed? If not, this could be your problem.
