Newcomers DBPro Corner / very simple question -- free movement in 3d space

sort of embarrased to ask. i cant figure out how to move freely in 3d space



with this code, the more downward you point, the more distorted your movement is. its odd

and yes i did search for quite a while. most people seem to be using the command "move camera 1" i'd like to use variables for my position, cx cz and cy (camera x, camera z, camera y)

You need EzRotate for good free-flight movement.

I entered the Alienware compo, and spent hours trying to get it right. The harder you try , the more obscure you find the commands are.

The commands are actually fine, and work as described. But you need to apply some good 3D maths to get them to do what you want.
