Hi all, this is my puzzle compo entry, Knights. The idea is to swap the marbles from one side of the board to the other. The only thing is, you have to use a knights move to move the marbles

I got the idea from an addictive little board game I bought at the seaside ages ago. You can find some screenshots at: http://dodo.dbspot.com/gallery.php?i=1&set=knights

Edit: Here's the demo: http://dodo.dbspot.com/downloads/Knights%20Demo.zip

p.s. why doesn't the link work?

Part of solving the problem is actually noticing that the problem is there in the first place

A web site full of HUGE 1MB bmp's is not a pleasurable browsing experience, even on fast ADSL.

You never heard of jpegs?

When you convert bmps to jpegs you usually get a compression ratio slider to play with that alters the ratio between file size and image quality. Looks like you plumped for rubbish image quality but low file size.

In painstshop pro it goes from 1 to 99 and I usually use around 15 or 20 mark. Any more compression and you start seeing bad pixellation around high contrast areas like text.

I'll try the demo later.
