So i sat down at my family computer for 5 minutes, and it was SOO slow it was making me sick...

so i decided to do the typical spyware removal/defrag

the spyware wasnt as bad as i expected, was infected in a few places.
but the defragging was so amazing i laughed out loud. i have never seen that many colors on one scan before, it was awesome (see attached)

That's scary, because my HDD looks about five times as bad...

I really ought to partition my 120gb

Defrag in safe mode to speed it up - 'tis a bad idea to defrag in normal mode because your effectively defragging more files that are being used, in safe mode the system files etc are, well safer.

You think that's bad? You should have seen this PC before I defragged it...I had to remove half my music, defrag, put it back and defrag again before it was nice and blue/green

My little brother called 911 today but accident when he tried to reach his Mom's cell through "Memory 0".

Quite an awkward conversation.

The old Windows 98 defrag looked so cool.

I remember doing DOS Defrag on a Windows PC. That was one HELL of a mistake. It abbreviated all my file names, eg. "Program Files" became "progra~1". Windows couldn't find ANYTHING. I had to re-format and install everything
