Hi

I've had this on my mind for a while and wanted to share it with you. I see truckloads of people in the WIP forum showing off thier projects. Some of them also try to create websites to feature info, screens, and downloads of thier current game.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in custom webdesign for their DBP game/application/or team. Like a sci-fi design for a futuristic shooter or a Buisness design for an application coded in DBP. This is in no way an advertisment or promotion. And hell I don't even know if this is 100%.

But if people were indeed for some reason interested, I was thinking of charging $5-10 per site with complete pages and navigation etc. Again, this is just and idea and I wanted to know how people would react to this. I am currently working to get my portfolio up so I do not have any work to show, but as I said I don't know if this is going to work. It'll hopefully be up in the next 2 days and there would be recent work samples uploaded.

Just want to know your opinions on this.

Thanks for reading.

I have some money to spare, and its a very good idea too.

Could you give more exact info on what it actually involves; what site designs you offer etc, what language you use (just HTMl or something else) etc.

Damn good idea anyway

sounds interesting.

i planned on having anextension to my website once its finished, which is basically an extension to this TGC community, which expands from just a forum.

i was thinking of an idea similar to this, except for free :/

@Megaton Cat

Are any of the webdesigns in your portfolio free to use and are you going to provide free web designs for people here, 'cause I'm in dire need of one!

Well see that's were it gets confusing. I was originally planning to do requests, but then I might get more requests then I can deal with.

So I was thinking of setting up a section where people submit website requests for thier games, and I check out each game's progress (Completion, WIP's, demos, screeens etc) and I decide which game/project/person needs a site most and work on those.

But then that might depress a few people and make them mad at me.
Which then won't help me at all.

Let me know if it's a good idea.

How about you let them submit requests and you complete them in the order they were submitted if the project is worth a site (same requirements for a WIP thread or slightly more tough?)

Yeah that does sound like a good idea. I'll have to create guidelines though. (Like you said, similar to WIP board, but less sissy...)

EDIT: You think I should start a new thread with a clearer message? This one kinda drags on...

Leave it in here till you've decided. A new thread when you're ready will be good
