Just got that via their weekly email...

Has a few bad things to say, but overall, it's a good review.

Just thought that it would be relevant, seen as TGC sell the product

Enjoy

Jess.

heh, it's not a very flattering review.
you can tell the reviewer is trying to have sympathy for it, because it does have a good go at being a fun arcade racer. still if his experience with it was anything like mine, then i'd say that the game would've been just as good as a Shockwave Viewpoint game.

Unfortunatly, I'd have to agree with you on that one...

It's a shame when developers don't take out the dodgy stuff before release, or push for that extra dev time to be able to give it a proper quality release...

Oh well.

I saw TrackMania Sunrise got a 71/100 on the latest issue of PC Gamer, which is a good rating.

It was an okay game - control of the car was a pain, and the track editor is based on how well you do in the main game, which is also a pain.

Is trackmania made in DBP?

It's M-E-G-A-T-O-N. NOT MEGATRON.

There is no car to car collision in the game - so you go right through your opponents ones.

the only problem ive experienced playing it is the lag, which would probably explain why its maker decided to turn car collision off, since the lag is so appalling you'll be crashing into cars all the time.

although you're constantly moving fine and not jumping around the screen yourself, everywhere around you carss are appearing and dissapearing and jumping and mating etc.

It scored a cool 8.2/10.0 on Gamespot :

Haven't tried it myself though.
