SoulMan-> I simply don't have the means to organize something like this outside of where I live; I'm sorry. However if someone else sets up another convention simultaniously, as has been suggested, I'd be glad to help synchronize the events via webcam.

Everyone, please refer to the first post in the thread for the possible weekends on when the convention will be held (currently every weekend after the first in October).
Okay, now the kicker.
I've had several offers from people to bring projectors, network cables, and other great equipment to help make the convention a fun one. However it's going to make money to rent the place (probably a hotel room) for the two days. If everyone on the 'maybe' list pays their attendance fee in advance, that'd probably cover it, but I simply can't rely on a maybe. Once we've decided on a date, I'm going to need a lot more 'definatlies' or this won't get off the ground. So if you can make it over on that weekend, please say so and help this pan out
