Hello,

My sister got a new laptop and i tried to install DBP trial version on it and it wouldnt let me use te same email address and password. is there any way the moderators can help me get trial version on it with the same email address and password

You don't need an email address or password to use the trial. Just activate it.

When i compile i get an error..

DBCompiler has encountered a problem and needs to close..

That's something else - if it wasn't activated it'd say so. Check the usual... DX9.0c (essential), suitably beefy video card (unlikely in older laptops), etc.

Well i ran a dxdiag...

It is equipped with direct x 9.0 and has a 64 mb video card...

I don't see why it's not compiling..

It's direct x 9.0c

I know it doesn't have a problem building and running exes because my sister already installed Disney's Toontown and it plays without any frame chops or error messages...

I have a really awesome idea for a game (well i wouldnt really call it a game) that would be a lot easier to make with a laptop (considering it's portable) plzzz someone tell me why it's not working..

does it have the latest updates
does it have dx9.0C
ie6(not sure what it would have to do with a game maker)
and try running a .exe made with DBPRO(dont have to be compiled on yr laptop)

Plzzz I don't know what version of IE I have how do i figure out and why would that have anything at all to do with the problems i'm having?

Any help would be appreciated..

Does DBP just not work on laptops for some reason
