question 1: can anyone give me a code to loop a dark matter 2 object
just walking? I cant get it to work with the loop object.

question 2: I redid a tutorial on dark basic pro and put in alien mutants in a .3ds format instead of the other squid objects, i think they were in a .x format and the programs take 30 full seconds to load.

any help would be great!

can you show me your code you have at the moment. if you post some code i will be able to help you better that with out code. (you have probly just made a small error)

if you want it to load faster load them in .x not .3ds

1, i am makeing a simple code like this (the positioning is not an issue, just the looping):

load object "(dark Matter 2 object name)", 1
position object 1, 0,0,10
do
loop object 1,5,25,
loop

2, are there any dark matter 1 objects that are in a .x format?

you can not have the loop of the object in the do loop.

try this
`may not need the play object bit but i always put it in

load object "(dark matter 2 object name)",1
poasition object 1,0,0,10
play object 1,5,25
loop object 1,5,25
do

loop


this should play the object then start to loop it. it will loop untill you end the code.

yes i have dark matter 1 and yes they have all objects in 3ds aswell as having them in .x format

thatnk you very much! it worked! by the way, do you know the frames for doing all those things for dark matter 2 objects, the fram numbers just don't work... for...some...reason...
