Newcomers DBPro Corner / Rain effects...how to do them?

basically i want my small city scene i created to have rain in it....whats the easiest way to do that? We can call it Starter rain..something i can start with thats simple code or something and something that i can mess with later.

help please! ive searched the forums..and googled..and more...simplest is the best...so anyone have any tips?

Simple: Create a sprite, with a rain texture. Make it the size of the screen and scroll the texture vertically.

Slightly harder: Make an animated sprite. Involves a small number of frames, but once animated will look after itself.

Better: Uses the Particles/cloth plug-in to create "real" rain.

Sorry...in a rush to get to work, just ideas rather than actual code.

Yup it was...please Rune keep a question to one forum... you were getting good answers....and the rain code i posted worked fine here.
