As i write this i'm watching the f1 grand prix, the usa grand prix, where only 6 out of the 20 drivers started

all the michelin cars aren't racing because their tyres might explode, it is really stupid, i feel soryy for the people who have paid to see 6 cars go round a track

Well, there are rules, Michelin tyres aren't so good this time, they blow up at the parabolic curve before startline (oh well, an indy car make 2000 parabolic curves in the 500 miles...) , Bridgestone are poor performace but more safetly tyres.
So, it's right to let Ferrari race and win this very ugly race.

and i feel very sorry for the people who have paid... i think we never see again a f1 race in america...

oh, by the way, FERRARI FOREVER!

Bridgestone is doing extremely well considering only 1 top team is using them and hence the only top team providing testing data to help improve them. This point also makes the whole Michellin thing even more embarassing for them.

Anyway, Ferrari rightly said that why should they pay for bad decisions made by the Michellin teams in terms of what tyres to bring to the GP. Other suggestions offered were to slow down in the corner, which kinda defeats the perpose of racing, to use different tyres from what they ran in qualifying, which would break the rules or to freight in a totally different compound of tyre from France. The proposal offered by the Michellin teams was to add a chicane between turns 12 and 13, to slow down them down sufficiently and to promote the Bridgestone runners to the top positions on the grid.

This also brings Ferrari way back into the battle for the driver championship, but more significantly, the constructors championship. I hope as a Ferrari fan, that because they are now back in with a good chance, the team will lift.

Bleh, in the end this has punched a massive hole in the Formula 1 market, especially in the US. It will be interesting to see if anything else unfolds in the coming days or weeks.

Go Ferrari!
I think, as it was michelins fault their tyres weren't working, it's their own problem and so if people can't race with them then tough... lol. Rules are rules and I think that's why they didn't make a little chicane on the banked part to slow the drivers down like some people were suggesting.
The fans who paid to get in must have been pretty gutted though...

the reason why the fia didnt build a chicane is because the drivers wouldn't know where to brake for it making it potentially dangerous - they once built a quick chicane due to a track problem, cant remember where, and it took them over a week to make sure that it was safe

they should have all used Bridgestone and said "Bov!" and then they'd be like - "YeeeHeee!" like michael jackson and then they wouldnt hit no rude chicane.

Formula One is dull and repetitive, would be much better if someone from each team (half the people) had to drive in the other direction!

Simple... yet fun!

I don't know any other motorsport which is not repetitive. I find that F1 is the least repetitive because the cars often change a lot between every race meeting.

Bleh, each to their own.

yea, i would like to see Barrichello's face in that moment!

Anyway, i find indy car and irl championship more intresting, less trouble with rules (this year mosley and fia make the best effort to sink f1... starting from the qualifing systems two years ago, this year with a double session, now one session, what next? lets try with the dice next time mosley...) and with more funny situation!
