Do you mean "the 3d game maker"? If you do, then skip it. Just... skip it.

I used it once a few years ago, but it wasn't brilliant there didn't seem to be an awful lot of documentation and it was pretty much just like building a Map or something in CounterStrike.

It got a whole lot better. I like it but I like DB just a little more (ok, a whole lot more).

3D Game maker is alright if you want to toy around and have a little play, but is doubtful as to whether you could justify spending that much on it. It offers very little freedom like that of a language.

3D Game Studio A5 / A6 is by 'conitec' and has nothing to do with '3d game maker' from TGC. Just know it's good, but you'll have to put a lot of effort in to get anything worth while out of it. It's not a 'one man army tool' you would need a team to make something pretty cool with it if you were not using the pre-made scripts and media. A dedicated artist, level builder, object designer, texture wizard, tune and audio guy and a coder or 2 with a good programming background. it's not for beginners. but it is powerfull.

grant.

mmmm....computer....

Do you not pay attention?

Geecee is right, it is extremely powerful if you know how to use it. And it really is not a one man program...

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself 
