Hey I want to create an intro that will play at the beginning of all my games that displays "Darkflame Games". You know like the intro that EA games uses which says "Challenge Everything". What program do you guys recommend I create this clip in?

Thanks

Look at the 3-D modellers thread it has info on this. You need one that will export it as a video and load that in DBPro to play back. Then have it run your code.

Another way is to create 3d text, ect and add effects to it while playing neccessary sounds, but it's much more complicating than playing a video.

make your scene and then render as an .avi
you can then have DB load the file... should be the easy way of doing it.

I use Bryce for my movies, you can import all your models from other programs, add in amazing environments easily, great lighting effects and with the use of metaballs you can make even more cool effects. Plus it comes with a pre-animated awesome-looking sky box chooser, so without having to animate the skybox it will play during the movie (having the clouds float around, the sun glare throug, etc). And with tonnes of sky boxes to choose from, its pretty good.

The videos are easy to make, just move and position the camera how you want it for each scene, plenty of useful commands to help, and it exports the movies in .avi files that can be loaded into DBP with the LOAD ANIMATION command.

Only prob is its not free but neither are any of the ones above.
