hi there

the game i want to make is a 2d shooter now i got all the sprites i need and tilesets i was going to make the maps with something i find called tile studio and i am looking at some tutorials i wanted just to ask if there are some realy good one on doing stuff to do with a 2d game thx

ok sorry i dont write on a lot on forums so let me try again

i am plaining out a 2d game now i have got all the sprites and tilesets to make the game but i have no coding in basic for 2d and i wanted to ask is anyone could point me to some good tutorials for 2d sprites and map making

First, i'm going to suggest the "Begginer's Guide to DarkBASIC Game Programming". It not only covers sprites but just about every command that you'll need as a bigginer in detail. I purchased it and it helped a lot, as long as you actually read it and not just use it as reference. Second, I know there are lots of 2d tutorials that have already been posted on the forum...its just a matter of searching around. I hope that helps.
