Hey all i just wanted to let everyone know about my site. I have been advertising it in my signiature but i dont think many people saw it so hopefully this thread will grab some more attention.

What its about:
Its a resource site that will have many Free models, textures, tutorials, and concept art

All that is on it right now is free models. im currently learning to texture and withen a week or so there will be textures available.

The only thing not functional on my site is the forums. for the reasons i dont have a MySQL database yet but im getting that soon too. hopefully.

Joining:
Im hoping for some people to also join the team. Any positions are open and there is no real objective yet besides the distribution of free resources to help out all the independent game developers out there.


Please do give any comments and critisicm you may have.

Why?

Frozen Flame: You were the guy taking models requests on 3Dchat weren't you? That was some of the fastest modelling I've ever seen.

I like the site's colors btw. Nav bars could be organized and more to the point.

Thanks megaton for the pointors.

There is still a lot missing from my site as i dont have to much to put on it yet. But with stuff ill be doing over the next few weeks, the sites links in the nav bar will be more.. true to their meaning?

more content will be added making it hopefully a better site.

I like the site.. It's lookin alright, after a bit more stuff gets loaded up i'm sure it'll be lookin great.

Maybe some tutorials on modelling using different programs or something similar?

Hey just a little update.
I added a few textures to the downloads page http://www.galekus.com/downloads.php

They arnt anything special. if only i knew how to make them seemless!
Oh well. maybe someone who joins the team can do that.

If anyone wants a Logo made for any purpose such as a game you are currently making, or your website, or for your sig maybe.. I can make some cool looking ones and ill do it for free just like everything else.

To request some just go to the http://www.galekus.com/indev.php
page and in the request box put Logo. describe it as best you can and ill get right on it. Its easy stuff to do so expect fast results. latest is a day or two.

You should add a "texture viewer", like maybe a popup window that shows textures, and you can scroll through them...possibly with flash? That would make the texture part awesome

It would be really great if i can get one or two more people to help with the site. Anyone good at texturing and has some free time wanna join? Another modeller to help would also be good.

Just needed a reason for a bump. This thread gets thrown down the list so fast.

Theres some recent work, its just a lowpoly nothin real fancy shotgun, no texture yet.

Sega and Microsoft nothing but the best.
