I need to know how to make things accelerate

um .... for dbp , i think there is a command called setspeed or set speed . something like that , Just increase the speed , cos of you dont set it , its automatically set to 0 , so in english , here is what you need to tell your compiler to do :-

lets assume up arrow makes , umm a character move forward .

Tell the compiler :

If up arrow is pressed : set horizontal speed to (5) or something .

keemo: There is no inbuilt speed commands...you can store the speed in a variable and move the object the distance specified in that variable.
If you increased the Speed value each loop you would have acceleration.
