After installing KOTAR II and then unistalling it the computer keeps minimizing applicastions like CS: Source and Warhammer 40k: dawn of war, and possibly halo, I cant find the source and I was wondering if maybe anyone could shed some light on this.

My system is Windows XP and it only just happened after th KOTAR II thing. If you need me to put my Direct X Diagnostics up I can.

EDIT
I can also give you what happenes when my computer starts up.

Um, yes you did. I won't be a prick and lock this but I'm getting a serious case of deja vous all over again.

Other thread:
Quote: "For some reason when I startup games they immediately go into a minimized state this started to happen after I installed KOTAR II which I removed do to extreme bordem of, and the new Battlefield 2 Demo, any reasons that you can think of for this?

Thanks."

Here's a list of things you can try:
- Uninstalling / reinstalling video card drivers
- Reinstalling DirectX
- Doing a system restore to a previous date (drastic)
- Rebooting computer (I assume you've done this)
- Go into the folder where the game is and double-click the icon directly instead of clicking the PIF link from the start menu / desktop
- How do DBP games run? Do they minimize too? If not then it has to be a coincidence.

Well, it looks like it was the cause of 2jbk8l8hm.exe, got rid of that, but now aftrer messing with my startup thingy windows cant seem to find some file, whoose name I cant even read because its name is composed of thoose squares, and even though I can see it, windows canot, so im just gonna do a restore, and if I have to reinstall windows...again.
