Newcomers DBPro Corner / Matrix and level editors ?

I cant find any good 3d level editors free , but I found geoscape , its a terrain editor a.k.a matrix editor , can i use it as a level editor so that my game takes place on a terrain ? But how would I import models made by milkshape into it ?

Keemo, first its not a matrix editor, its a terrain editor. The most obvious difference would be the speed the game runs once loaded.
Geoscape is designed purely for terrains, you cannot add objects or build indoor levels.
To add objects, you need to load the terrain inside DBP, then use the command Load object to import your objects made by milkshape.

Thanks , so geoscape could be used as a level editor on dbp , but do you reccomend any 3d level editors free out there ?

Well, look at DeleD. It's a free level editor, with a pro version also. It's good at making indoor levels, but definately not outdoor terrains. For that, your best option would be Bryce 5.5 or earlier version. It's excellent at making landscapes to use for games and is good at modelling other things, but it's not free. To get good landscapes, you'll probably need to spend money.

I want a level editor , Would be for outdoors only , as I would be placing buildings in my game , but you wont be able to enter them , if its a shop , the shop keepers are standing outside =)
So can DeleD or Bryce do that ?? Any others ?
