The Hyundai looks ok, but the Acer has digital and analog output.
That's a big plus since lots of new video cards have digital output
nowdays.

I like ZipZoomFly since most items are two day free shipping.

the lower the ms the faster the gameplay or less blurring

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself 

Haven't followed the links but what they said about digital output - if you're referring to DVI make SURE it has DVI. Uing the old CRT plug for tfts is nasty

come on now. A book. I hate books. book is stupid. I know that I need codes but I dont know the codes"

What's the difference between those kinds of plugs? Haha, just last night my monitor's plug thingy lost 1 of the pins, and now the screen's gone yellowish.

Gotta have DVI. Mine looks a lot better with it. Also don't have to mess around with resolution resizing etc, as DVI maps pixels precisely to the monitor.

BTW, their dead pixel policy is really really bad. Only replace or refund if 8 or more dead pixels? WTF??? Thats miles more than most places, plus a lot of places will refund if even a single dead pixel is in the centre of the screen. Even so, if you buy online then you can return within a week of getting it for whatever reason (long distance selling rules). Even if you don't like the colour of it. Personally I would find somewhere else that will supply it with a free dead pixel check. Basically they won't send you a panel if it has *any* dead pixels on it. But most places you have to specifically ask for this. My guess is they don't want to make it standard as they would lose a lot of panels, whereas if you have to ask then some twit who missed this would have to put up with the inferior product. When I bought my projector, for instance, I paid an extra £50 (still £400 cheaper than street ) for a company with a dead pixel check, just incase. At that price (£1600) I wasn't taking any chances.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

mine uses the analogue but it's crisp and pixel perfect, it just depends how good it is at using the analogue input. mine auto locks perfectly at it's native resolution of 1280x1024.

you want a high contrast and low response time, also a dead pixed policy is a good idea, the term "dead pixel" can be a bit misleeding, they are usually put full colour always on like one at my dad's work has a bright red one at the top left, you don't notice it and i'm sure it comes and goes but they are not black and can be raelly annoying, esp. if near the centre of the screen.

for gaming, you should consider the following:
it should be faster (lower) then 14ms response time

ive never come across a game which uses higher than 1280*1024 screen res size, so dont go overboard, unless your into doing massively detailed art for textures etc...

other things such as screen size etc are up to you.

these thngs only apply to lcd monitors, the onyl thing i think think of for CRT montiors is that a refresh rate of 72hz is perfecxt. any mroe is the same as having some less.
