Ok I have been meaning to redesign my site for some time, the old build was a flash site but, it took a while to load up so I bypassed Flash and just went for stright HTML, dont get to excited as there is no information up there went just my design and rollovers on the buttons. Please let me know what you think of it, does it look professional? How long does it take to load? etc.

The address for those who can't find the little link at bottom of my posts is:

Thanks
Rob

Horizontal Scrollbar = Evil. You maximum width should either be 100% or 1024.

Don't look at me like that!

you ever notice how the majority of artists, seem to believe that throwing in as many colourful images makes their website good.

before you redesign I'd suggest you look at some good websites, like those by
Paul LaSalle (Titan) and Brian Jones (BoboTheSeal

Both have quite good clean website designs that don't rely on over-the-top artwork. (though I prefered Paul's last site more )

yes, but i was making a point.. how you present yourself often shows your style more, which can be a make or break factor.

oops don't worry megaton just realised I didn't allow proper space for the tool bar at top and I need to shrink it slightly in width to allow for the scroll bar

EDIT: Ok I have resized it, there shouldnt be any scroll bars around now

I quite like it. Shame I missed the high-res version though as this looks crushed into the corner of my screen now (1920x1200). Not saying to resize it (willing to wait till 2009 until everyone goes above 1280), but try centering it and making the background repeat. I mean it is in the top left corner with loads of white on the rest of the screen.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing
