Just got this on an email. The A-Team and the 80's have lost their rosey hue.... I am a child no more.... And if you are a child then listen to the decent advise of the 80's. Oh yeah. Strange it wasn't a hit...

Heh, didn't see the "Real American" Hulk Hogan effort to one side. Almost as cheesy. Like how they have all these really symbolic images of america, showing how great it is, then fading to Hulk playing a glam rock guitar in front of the flag.

Heh, firing off missles and depressed looking soldiers doesn't exactly fit in too great.

Dammit. Getting addicted to the song now. Still doesn't beat Team America's "America, **** yeah!!!". Sang that for ages. Upsets gran though....

Cheers

Ps. Does he sneeze at the end? Probably too much hair up his nose.

Holy cow!!! Farm animal friends is by far the most cheesy kids thing I've ever seen. And the BBC has some pretty messed up stuff (Rod, Jane, and Freddy). You keep waiting for the joke that never comes.....

Sorry Dazzag, a little too much swear evasion going on there, the filter has been put in place for a reason and a few well placed asterix's don't really make much of a difference. I've edited your posts to be a litte nicer, please try to keep everything G-Rated from now on, thanks.

Really? So we are not allowed to swear with asterisks? Um, ok. $£!!$!? daft if you ask me...

Cheers

Ps. Why not change the swear filter to filter for words that are obvious when using asterisks?

I didn't. I asterisked. Go to any decent development team and watch the air turn blue as people start punching (really) LCD panels. OH yes. Or go to a playground....

That film is from an educational film by Mr.T called "Be somebody" where he teaches you how not to look gay if you fall over breakdancing etc and how to not be gay.

That film is really funny, I've seen it before, and the "treat your mother right" song isn't even the best bit!

Forgot about this, good find!

I actually have had the "Real American" song (that Dazzag mentioned above) in my MP3 collection for years. I recorded it from the original record, which was the 1985 WWF Album.

Awesome song - and I never even knew there was a video. Well, the song is a little better than the video. That song, and many others on that album were actually quite good!

And the Mister T video? It's priceless. Remember, if you give your mom a pop-up snake in a box, follow it up with a box of chocolates, and everything will be cool. Awesome!!!!

Yeah, the lyrics are super-cheesy, but it's actually quite catchy. Bit like a Kylie song. I mean you don't want to like it, then find yourself humming it down the Rock club on Nirvana night. Ar... ang on, I mean drat it. Darn it and all that. Yes.

Still doesn't beat that Team America song though, that I can't repeat the name of as it as it has asterisks in it.... erm, how about "America, by crikey, yes". Not too near the knuckle there....

Here is something amusing I found today on a US comic site linking to a BBC story.
