Hi, I finally made the jump to XP on my PIII 933 anyway i fire up my game exe and its lost at least 35 fps. I was getting 59 fps in development using win98se with DBP, after with XP i was getting 30 fps. I hope XP hasnt altered a second drive too much so i can reinstall win98se on this older machine for the fps speed.

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself 

XP is faster for games for me. I'd try messing with your video card drivers, maybe try omegas.

Try turning of the XP Themes and stuff, disable all the services that you arnt using
